Why Y DNA Testing

Preparing for the Bennett Greenspan Event

We think it is importrant to test your family’s Y-DNA

The Y-DNA is only on your paternal line

Bennett’s first program will be:

Chromosomal Time Machine

(How I worked my Genealogy back to 150 CE) using Y-DNA

I am going to use me as an example. I am female and I don’t carry

a Y-DNA

I have 2 brothers but, my father was an only child.

His father’s family died in the Holocaust.

My one brother’s son has all daughters and my other brother’s son is not married yet.

If the unmarried nephew has a son this line would continue.

If not this Y-DNA would cease to exist.

If I wanted to trace my father’s paternal line I would have to test either my brother’s or my nephew’s Y-DNA.  Which I have done.

But, just remember that the Y-DNA goes from paternal line to paternal line and does not change.

By testing we will be able to connect to paternal-line relatives, follow migration on you paternal side and explore your heritage on your paternal side.

And, most importantly make sure that we have a record if this Y-DNA line ceases to exist.

Bennett is the founder of Family Tree DNA and the only DNA company that does Y DNA.

He recommends either the:

Paternal Ancestry kit for $119

Paternal Ancestry in Greater Details for $449

Please note there are always sales
