Meeting will be on Zoom: Zoom call details will be emailed prior to the event.

The first will be interview format covering her role as the coordinator of Jewish Heritage Europe, a web portal for news, information and resources concerning European Jewish monuments and heritage sitesfollowed by an in-depth look into the provocative "10 Commandments of Jewish heritage preservation", with an emphasis on cemeteries, synagogues and "dark tourism”.


Ruth Ellen Gruber is a leading authority on contemporary Jewish issues and culture in Europe.  The author of several books, she was a foreign correspondent with the United Press International for more than a decade.  She is presently the coordinator of Jewish Heritage Europe whose link is below.  But, you might know her from her acclaimed book, Jewish Heritage Travel:  A Guide to Eastern Europe.
