The Members Helping Members forum is the place to ask genealogy questions. Many of our members have extensive knowledge of Jewish genealogy, and genealogy research in general . . . and are will to help other members. The goal is for members to ask questions, and members to respond and provide guidance so all members can benefit from advice and resources to explore.
If a topic is not listed you may create a new topic. See the FAQ (link above) and contact the webmaster if you have any questions or need assistance.
Many are overwhelmed by all the genealogy resources, and other related aspects. This is especially true for those who are just beginning their family history research. But it can equally be true for seasoned family genealogists as technology and new resources are made available.
JGSCO's Members Helping Members feature is a great way to fix this common problem. You can ask specific questions and get guidance in where to go to find what you need. And, of course, their personal advice is always a plus.
JGSCO encourages you to take advantage of the Members Helping Members forum . . . so you can make exciting family discoveries. You can get step-by-step help as you expand your family tree, and your knowledge of things genealogy.
Does it really need to be repeated that, "There are no dumb questions". There are not. We all started with the same knowledge of things genealogy: NOTHING.
No matter if we learned the hard-way of self learning, or were fortunate to have a mentor or other resources, we achieved exciting discoveries about our ancestors. You can too.
