VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Help Us Finish Strong
JCRS Beck Archives at the University of Denver Volunteer Project
Monday August 24th 2026 10 am to 3 pm
We’re rounding the bend on completing the JCRS patient application records—and we couldn’t have come this far without our incredible volunteers. Thank you!
Now, let’s finish strong together.
Please consider joining us for one or more Mondays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM(with a lunch break). This is meaningful mitzvah work and a unique opportunity to explore fascinating Denver history.
What You’ll Do
Our goal is to create a complete index of the JCRS patient application collection. Volunteers will work with historical records and enter key data into a spreadsheet provided by the archive.

Beck Archives Volunteers
David Fasman has informed us that the University of Denver Library is taking additional precautions due to recent incidents. The library building will be swipe-card access only for students and faculty.
David will meet everyone at 10:00 AM at the entrance and take the group down to the Beck Archives himself. Please be prompt.
He will return to the entrance at 10:15 AM to bring down anyone who arrives slightly later.
If you have trouble getting in, you may call David Fasman at 310-923-3606.
Please also plan on bringing a lunch to avoid the complications of going in and out of the building during the day.
Sorry to all of you who normally like to walk out for lunch.
And thank you for volunteering and doing this important work.
